China’s CPI up 0.5 pct in October

BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) — China’s consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 0.5 percent year on year in October, the National Bureau of Statistics said Tuesday.

The growth eased from the 1.7-percent rise registered in September.
