HONG KONG, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) — Hong Kong’s Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported 61 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday, taking its total tally to 8,671.

The new cases included 60 local infections, with 19 of them untraceable, according to a CHP press briefing.

Hong Kong’s Hospital Authority said 916 COVID-19 patients are being treated in public hospitals and the community treatment facility at AsiaWorld-Expo, including 51 in critical condition. Enditem
